Can I use brasso the polish my gun:) I think its a stupid questioni but its worth asking.

steel wool would work fine, thats what i used

brasso wont get paint overspray off, it is a metal polish . yes you can use it, but if you have the abilty to get onto military bases, go into the PX and pck up somehting called "maas" it cmes in a little silver tube. nothing beats it.

Do you mean to clean it up and give it a shine? If so brasso may work but its like a fingerprint magnet. I used turtlewax on my gun before and it worked pretty good, just be sure to wipe it all off or it turns green and crusts up.

steal wool is definitly the best idea. may take longer but ends wup wit nice finsh or scotch bright pad will help if u can get it to spin at a high rpm while polishing...then again u can always crome it lol

Just don't over do it on the steel wool. You can use sand paper if you prefer, but i find steel wool to be better and easier to use.  Just use it lightly to take off scratches and rough parts. Be careful using on the inside of the body; if you take off too much metal the bolt might not seal correctly. If possible use a dremel [with polishing wheel] to polish the internals with 'Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish.' It helps a lot.

i would not touvh the inside at all if your ju7st lookin to shine the out side jsut do the out side and aviod the inside

I agree with everything but one thing. There isn't much of a seal created on the inside of the gun. The rear bolt o-ring seals MOSTLY on the inside of the powertube, and not really on the body of the gun.
