 powertubes my guns bolt isnt going back i was wondering if one of you guys would know if i should get a new tube and a good site to get it from

ok dude thanxfor chekin me out ok like when i am all gased up and i fire the bolt just goes forward and dosent come back it does putter a little like when you are all out of co2 and i figured that it was the power tube

Did you oil it 1st before dry firing the marker?

Possibly, but when was the last time you did oil yer marker or took it apart to be cleaned.

did you dissassemble it? make sure the linkage arm is still in place. it's what actually pulls the bolt back. it'll be a small metal rod running along the top of the gun.
having a bad powertube would just cause it not to shoot at all, not just leave the bolt forward.

ya oppened her up and cleaned her like 2 weeks ago when i put in a new bolt (starfire) and i dont think that i oiled it but could it couse that much drag and i know my likage arm is good becouse my new bolt goes back when i cock it

well, if the linkage arm is in properly, the front bolt is connected to the rear bolt. if the gun is cocked, and the linkage arm is in place, the bolt can't be forward.

i konow but when i pull the triger and my stuff goes forwared it just putters like when you are practically out of c02 it dosent re cock itself

It could be that when you took yer 98c apart to add the Starbolt, you mightve fergotten to back the sear or the sear spring.

The sear and sear spring is part of the markers trigger systrem.
Look up at the banner above and click "support" and then click the 98c parts manual.

i think it might be my rear bolt or my tube i am getting a reaflush cocking sytem soon though so i will soon find out what the prob is
