the A-5 flatline is loud every time I shoot everyone knows where i am i don't like that. so i modified it and tryed it out the back yard and it is very quiet.

By drilling holes in the bottom of the inside tube, the(bottom)only because the ball rolls on the top of the barreI. I used 7/64"drill bit and started back11/2" from the end of the barrel, then drilled 6 holes in a line 4 lines total side by side (make sure all burrs are off).then on the end plate i drilled 2 bigger holes for exhaust ports, then filled the outside tube with felt wadding then, put everything back together and it still works the same but a lot quieter.

Just hit the person you're shooting at and there will be no problem.

This has been done before. No matter how quiet your marker is the opponent will always be able to hear you. Theres no point in quieting it down.

E-Grip
JCS Dual Trigger
DOP X-CORE 8 stage x-chamber
Lapco Bigshot 14" Beadblasted

Did you create the holes in the shroud or barrell, I never had a problem myself, no matter how load or quite they can still hear you, and they still see the gas clouds.

LOL gas clouds.

Coming in May 2005!

i didn't get to field test it yet but the idea is so that when I shoot at people far away they don't duck when i shoot. I notice everyone will duck or move back so when the ball gets to them they are out of the way the shot goes where I want but I don't hit them because they knew I shot even when I don't shoot at them they still duck, it's good for cover fire so people can move up. I'll let anyone know how it works that wants to. even in woods ball I got 2 people out of 5 that I crawled up on I think I could of got all 5 if they didn't hear me so soon or know exactly where I was.
