make sure the hose where the c02 goes through is screwed on tight in all those spots. also u could be low on C02, the rt does like to work on about a 1/3 to a 1/4 tank left and below.

If the hoses were loose wouldnt co2 come out and empty the tank or is there a slow leak and it only leaks when you fire it and it doesnt get full power to the power valve. then i guess you wouldnt get enough back gas to run the R/T.

One would think you should take it to a local proshop and ask for their opinion and ask them to fix it, no?

thats exactly what i did,  i brought it into the shop that  i bought the part from, he took it apart, and was stumped as to y it wasnt working. he said that i could leave the gun over night and he would try to make it work.  i picked up my gun the next day and he got it working, apparently there was abit of debree inside the tube that was cloging it up. now it works like a dream, except that it outshoots my 14bps hopper.
