Barrel adapter?

   I just got 98c and i still have my old barrel for my spyder. i am going to probley get a barrel adapter. i was wondering if it would effect the barrels performance?

	i have a smart parts all american barrell that works great. the aa and the freak jr, and i think the freak too, all come with barrel adapters for the 98. i noticed the adapters are required on for most guns, not just tippmanns. The point is all those barrels are great, and they all have barrel adapters, so I guess the barrel adapter doesnt make a difference, as long is its connected well.
