Macroline. Could you cover the hose in a tubing like heat shrink? I don't know alot about that. I also thought they madd different color hoses, guess i was wrong.

people will see your mask before they see hosing also unless your gun is painted a flat color the gun being shiny is more visible than about anything when a gun it turned twords you the hose is like 1/4th inch wide and mabye you have awesome vision but i cant see it easily you can still get macroline or just spray paint the hose

Well as someone said up there heatshrink tubing would work the idea is a get a fat long peice. You place it over your line. Then you get a heat gun and place it near it so the tubing is then heated up making the tubing shrink to the size of the line. But be careful not to calapse the line.

They make macroline. but if you need a long piece and run CO2, don't use it the length/pressure raitio isn't very safe due to CO2's inconsitant pressure spikes.

And I think he was referring to still wanting steel cable hose (still my preference even with short runs). Maybe anodized metal bands for the braiding since painting flexible metal won't hold.

Experts? Could a steel braid hose be anodized prior to the braiding & connections to make it black? I know i couldn't be done to an existing hose, I'm talking about a manufacturer doing this and selling them.

It could be done but i dont think that anyone will do it. most manufactuers are doing just fine on the silver ones. tape looked fine on my 98 when i had the tape on. i took it off because i was smart enough to realize that they wernt seeing my hose, it was my mask.

macroline is a good idea, but all of the connecting fittings are confusing and i dont trust it. black rustolium works great and last awile. when it wears off just spray more on.
