I made a mod to a JT mask that elimates mask fogging. I took the visor off and cut a square hole. I then glued a 12v radio shack fan in their and let the glue dry. I used a battery pack used for rc cars(7v) The fan isnt loud because it isnt running at the maximum 12v. I made a connector from audio/video cables that mounts to the side of the mask and the other end runs into my guppy harness and thats where the battery is.

yeah, but the mask would probably fall from the weight, like i said its a good sized battery pack about 6" long and 2 1/2" wide. Pretty hefty battery. I just run the wire underneith my clothes

Well done. This is actaully a very old modification (I first heard of it around 1990). But the thing that is nice about the battery back configuration is that you can change the batteries so much easier than the stock mask fans. Those of you with JT fans know exactly what I mean - terrible design JT (on what is still my preferred mask).
