Will the a-5 hopper get in the way of medium sized scope? If so how do i fix it? What is the best scope for the a-5?

Dont get a scope. use your sights.

if you believe it is in the way, which i dont think it is, get an offset rail.  if  you want an aiming device besides your sights, get a redot sight.
The desire for polyester is just to powerful.

it does it in the way for some and not for others but i think the iron sights are just fine for paintball

Trust us on this one, you DON'T want a scope, it's very pointless, you will regret wasting your money once you go out on the field and find out your gun doesn't shoot with 100% accuracy...just get a red dot sight, some cheap but effective ones can be found here http://www.countypaintball.com/product_overview.asp?from=pro ducts&category=6&subcategory=0

and maybe even put it on a sight rail...

A 30mm Red Dot works great on an A-5.

dont use a scope us peep sights there for rifles but they work awesome and a ten times better than a scope u can get them at your local army surplus and supply shop

Don't use a scope a paint ball gun isnt accurate enough for a scope, plus the paint ball drops about a hundred times faster than a bullet which is what a scope is made for.

Scopes give you tunnel vision also. Somebody could be sneaking around your right side and you wouln't even see him.
