i was thinking about an idea where paintballs are tightly wrapped in a plastic of some kind that would fit in a hopper and have a special coating on the hopper that reacts with the plastic to make it dissolve instanly. i thought this could be helpful to eliminate then need to fill pods and would be faster loading on the field.

that wouldnt eliminate the idea of pods. you would need somthing to hold the paint so it dosent break when you fall or lie down in the wrapping.

So, basically he's saying somethig that resembles snap on clips for a gun. To better improve upon this idea, you know how 100 rounds of paintballs come in tubes? Well, maybe make a case of 2,000 all come in "clips" that can be shoved into a special hopper.

OR, you could just as easily design a "pod" that looks like a clip that fits over the holes to a hopper and you push a button to send a spring loaded burst of paintballs into the hopper- thats quick loading, and cost effective since it's reusable.

if the bags were to dissolve it would:

1. leak down into the gun

2. get the hopper dirty

3. get the balls dirty

Actually you can do that. put the balls in a grocery bag then throw acid all over it. that would be interesting.

it wouldnt jus evaporate it would need some where to go once it turns into gas could work but instead onf one speed pod you would load about 3-4 of these things I wouldnt see the point. But they do have materieal that once it doesnt touch air anymore it hardens up and evaporates once it hits o2
