The hardest part is mounting the ram in place of the hammer assembly. You'd also have to figure out how to mount the ram housing as an endcap. Yea, I could see how you'd need some heavy mods.

It's better because it's true electropneumatic instead of just a sear tripper.

Both are capped at 15 bps, 13 bps is the Spyder cap. He thinks there's a difference, but there's not. Why? The Ebolt is cool for the 98C because it can communicate with electro hoppers. However, on the A-5 you don't even need an electro hopper. I'm not sure if anyone has the E-bolt connected and working to a WAS Equalizer yet, but that would be another advantage. Otherwise, it's a useless waste of time and effort. |

my point is so i wont have any kick, and itll be free cuz my bro is guna give me his ebolt, and my a5 will truely be unique
and yes it is a bsi edit: once i think about it itd be easier than thought, yes it would be difficult to mount the ram on the back, but afterit is done, you can use the endcap to fill in the spaces, (obviously cutting it) Edited by Frobs |

I think it would sick if you could get a e-grip into a 98 so that it would be totally legal and you wouldnt have to spend the extra $80 or so on the ebolt.

What makes a 'true' Electropnuematic better the just a sear tripper though?

It cycles better and smoother than a electro-mechanical. That's the benefit of electropneumatic over sear trippers. They perform smoother and better.
And no, BSI did not sell the ebolt to Tippmann. Tippmann bought the ebolt from Psychoballistics. Then BSI made their own version of it. |
