Expansion chambers allow CO2 room to expand, which helps prevent liquid
CO2 entering you gun. Ultimately might help keep your velocity more
consistent.
Regulators restrict the gas (HPA or CO2) to a certain pressure. Used for attaining a desired operating pressure and keeping consistent velocity. Edited by 5ptcontingency |

I would like to paste in some text I borrowed off the Palmer's website. Food for thought... You might want to consider an anti-siphoned tank and a stabilizer.
Visit http://www.palmer-pursuit.com if you want to read their whole FAQ. Edited by cieldric |

Keep in mind that Palmer's is biased, and for obvious capitalist reasons, wants people to buy a palmer reg, not another company's expansion chamber. That's not to say palmer's aren't great, but the statement directly calls expansion chambers detrimental to performance. |
