Polished Internals

They are pretty much the same internals as you have in your tippmann now, just polishedby you with a lil bit of some type of polisher.

I have been playing paintball off an on for several years and finally have sprung for my own marker to play some outlaw ball. I own a Model 98c and polishing the internals looks like a good idea. It is well know that a smooth surface results in less friction and more efficiency. I have Dremel tool and plenty of mother’s polish; my question is what will polishing my internals do to my warranty? Will it be voided? Or will Tippmann accept this as an end user modification? I would hate to void my warranty in case something fails during the next 12 months. Thanks for any help

Tippmann still replaced a few parts I broke doing some experimental mods, I doubt polishing the internals will void anything tippmanns rules customer service wise!

Anyway if you want instructions I dont think I can explain it better than www.model98.net

I heard someone say that Tippmann wouldn't work on his gun because he polished his internals, but if something breaks just send that in, not the entire gun, and you shouldn't have a problem. It's well worth it, you'll get better efficency and less kick, the gun will just feel smoother when you shoot it.
