I'm TRYING to get some support for a paintball club at our local school. There will not be any play involved on school property; it will be played at our local field. So far I have been denied 10 times. I'm hoping that this will be the last time I have to go in to TRY to get them to allow us to have a club. I'm trying to get support from all of the great paintball websites and companies. I'm not asking for much, just your support. If we do get our club, we would post the link the Tippmann site on the paintball club site. Steve Miller Savanah Georgia |

I think I am going to try this at my school. A bunch of people I know play. Then I could get some extra-curricular activites credit. As of now I have none.

Just start your club without the school's blessing. If you're not doing it on school property, you don't need their permission.
Just spread the word amongst the students and get it going. Once you have something in place, talk to the cooler teachers about playing too. If you get a couple teachers on board, you're half way there. You have to prove to your school that it's a safe, healthy sport. You can't do that unless you have something in place to show them. As Nike says, Just do it! |

Welcome to the forums! Sorry to say, but it won't really matter what people say here, let alone anywhere online, I would just do what County said, that was a really good idea. But I don't see what getting the school involved will do, I mean you won't be playing on school property, and thats pretty much all you can do with the school, maybe name the team after your schools nick name, but you really don't need the school. I wish you the best of luck though! |

Universities, (including the one I'm going to) have an O day, where students can start there own organization pertaining to whatever they want. I'm pretty sure that we are going to start one with paintball when we get there.

yeah, my friends and i Joined a group up here after he couldnt get one threw the school. BUT IRONICLY where we play is in the woods behind the school, its the old water resevoir, and we put up palats and stuf out there, really fun. you can go in the resevoir, and play outside of it, all in the woods around, and its right behind the school.
