I was bored in study hall right after I bought my 98, and was looking for some pics of Tippys. The marker gallery soothed my urges.

My dad finally found his SL-68 and I did a MSN search for that; found the SL-68 II for sale on Tippmann's marker page, and started trying to figure out if it was, in fact, the same company and such.

At the time, it had a silencer, butt plate, and red dot sight, so it was already "customized" to me.

Despite some overreacting on my part to Funky's sense of humor (I made my very first 'Gee this forum is full of mean/stupid people' post the next day) I stayed and ended up getting a 98C for Christmas that year.

Having gone back and found some of my early posts that I'd saved, I'm apalled at my typing and grammar.

Here's an excerpt from my pre-grammar nazi days:

"So to recap for those of you who are too lazy, have forgotten, or have trouble remembering, this guy @ my school thinks flaking is impossible in speedball and when playing speedball u should never move. He claims to be a good player and supposedly has been playing for 3 years...ive only been playing a few months and i know better, and i told him about the forum, so he somehow interpreted 'ive been getting tactical advice from a forum' to 'i read a book and im an expert' and i told him i wasn't an expert and he honestly believes that i said that. im trying to get about 3 pages of answers to prove him wrong about everything. So plz post and keep it going. "

Not too bad, but to me it's unbelievably annoying. I had to check it closely to see if it was in fact something I'd posted, and only realized it when I remembered the incident in question.

For real, didnt know how to install my flatline cause it didnt come with directions, i bought it used.

Looking for info on my 98 custom.

It was July, 2002. I had just ordered my Pro/Carbine and was wondering if it fed from the side, like the 98, or Vertically.

Needless to say people were confused by how I worded it, and after a few posts back and forth between Myself and _TT_ we had it all sorted out.

Just bored, and I wanted to flame an absolute idiot I saw in the marker gallery, and had to join to do so.

I have no idea, I just "found" it.
