I use wax worms and real worms mostly. With that I can catch an
assortment of bluegill, bass, catfish, and pike. This is at my families
cottage on about a 400 acre lake..not too big. We used to also have
muskie, crappie, and a lot more pike, till they killed off our lake as
an experiment, then barely restocked it, however it's making a nice
come-back.

I use popping lures for bass, the kind that pop water when you yank on them, the biggest bass Ive ever caught weighed almost 7 lbs. I use live minnows for flounder, I caught a 17 inch last weekend, my personal record is 22 inches. For catfish I use chicken livers or bloodworms or stinkbait for brim and panfish I use beetle spinners |

I only fish 'big game' so to speak. Deep sea fishing. For that only live bait will work, usually small bluefish. *Sometimes* you can get away with chopping up a larger blue fish and use that. I've caught a 30lbs/27inch (1.5 lbs/1inch away from Key West record) blackfin tuna with that. For any of you that haven't tried deep sea, that is an incredible step up from lakes and streams. Saltwater fish fight like nobody's business, and provide a nice dinner afterwards... Btw, after catching my tuna I was sick and started puking over ther side of the boat. Keep in mind I was 12 when I caught it. My have caught list

Brim= Can't get any better than crickets, float, or just straight sink. Crappie= Float fishing with minows on light tackle. Cat= Strong tackle, chunks of blackbird breast's, preferably, but just about anything will work, fished on bottom around good bottom cover. Bass= Medium tackle, Carolina rigged black power worm w/rattle and scent of choice. And/or common spinnerbait, topwater plug (rapala), or crankbait. |

I fish for big catfish. Especially Flatheads and Blue Cats. For Flatheads I use 4-5 inch live goldfish or bluegill. For Blues, usually a big chunk of blueback herring (when I'm in S.C.) bigest fish? 44 lb blue catfish.

Brim and Bluegill, I use either grassshrimp or crickets Specks (Crappie) I use minnows or mini-spinners. Bass I use either plastic worms (Triline is my prefered brand, I know they make line but they also make plastic lures, they are suprisingly good), or a basic 1.5 inch gold spoon. As far as hardbaits are concerned, I have a tacklebox full of different shapes and depths and styles and brands, but I have found my favortie to be the basic Rattl-Trap or a YoZuri darter. |

I HIGHLY reccomend mister twister plastic worms(the white ones. they come in many assorted colors) and a little YUM sprayed on it. What YUM is, is a spray that leaves an odor or taste in the water that smells like distressed worms. I.E: a real worm on a hook. Ever since I started useing it I seem to catch alot more large mouth and small mouth bass. I fish at a small pond, maybe 40 acres large. Its about 3 miles on 4 wheeler through deep woods, the whole trip is fun.

i fish for walleyes. i use mainly #7 Shad raps. they work awesome. just go into about 11 to 15 foot of water and it works like a charm for all of you walleye fishermen. ive also heard that there are some guys using spoons at Lake erie if anyone wants to know. they say they're the HOT thing there right now.

I usually don't use lures. I fish off the coast(about a mile out) and we usualy use live anchovies. This Sunday the water was so clear I could just about see the bottom of the ocean. The barracuda were biting all morning. We would just throw our line in near a group of fish and catch one. We caught about 15 but only one was larger than the leagal limit. My dad caught a fat 10 lbs bull bass. And I also snagged a descent size Halibut. Good times.
