Well once the weather gets to cold to go outside and paintball, I'll be in my garage working on restoring this...
It's an original 60's Schwin Stingray. It was my dad's. Over spring break we where at my grandparents house, and I was cleaning out the shend in their back yard when I found it. So I asked my grandma if I could have it and she said sure so we brought it 800 miles back to our house in Kentucky, from Dallas, TX. I'm gonna have the frame sandblasted to get the rust off, get a new seat or refinish the current one, and I'm gonna getted painted either candy apple red, or a metallic green. Get new tires, straighten out the bent rims, and fix anything else wrong with it. It's gonna be sweet when it's done. Edited by Random_Person |

My dad has one that is in my grandfather's shed and it looks exactly like it but in better condition. It is candy apple red and has a nice seat and the old style shift inbetween the legs. Good luck with that and send the final results when you finish.

I like to paintball, but i really don't like the cold and when it's 20 degrees or less outside, I find that slightly to cold to be outside.
And I'm doing it because, 1. not much to do during the winter months 2. it's fun to fix/build things like that 3. give my dad that warm, tingly feeling when he realizes i care about other things besides computers, paintball, and girls (like his childhood) 4. riding bikes is fun, and this one will be sweet when I get finished with it |
