I have had three A5's in the past and continue to post on the A5OG and try to keep up to date on tippmann developments, quite a few members over there have markers other than tippmans. Sheesh....

i like the washer machine thats a 10/10 there! But for real, is that a AIM Crow older b/c I know the Crow's are the AIM21 Crow with the "wing" milling, my buddy has one....? But nice cocker, slap a e2 or race frame on that bad boy, a delrin, some qev's, and you should be alright, maybe a faster hopper also. |

Nope its not a Crow I just couldn't remember when I updated my sig which body it was so I picked the only AIM body that came to mind. The shocktech reg to a long time to break in, but this weekend its tightened up and the consistency is about +- 4fps. Also its a shocktech bolt so its already half delrin, but if I got an e2 i'd get a JAM antichop bolt so I could increase my lpr pressure and up my cycling speed while retaining two antichop devices one mechanical, and one electronic. It currently pinches, but I am afraid that the lpr is set to low to keep up with 15+bps.

I would turn it up but I like being able to stick my finger down the feed tube and have it not hurt to have the bolt close on my finger. Though if I wait long enough I could get an e2 with breakbeam eyes so that the current flaws of the reflective eye will be resolved.

ok, why? do u know how to set it up? do u have the hammer lug catching the sear? do you know how to turn up ur lpr and test it? i dont care if u hurts ur finger or not, u should care about how the gun works on paint, not ur finger!

I know it pinches. Thats all I care about. . I just use the finger test to make sure that I have the lpr set low enough to pinch, but just so you know I do test it with a half fed paintball before I think about putting my finger in the feed tube. It is sprung light enough that I can keep my recock low and not have to worry about cycling issues at typical mech speeds. Its just I don't think I can keep the gun pinching if I want it to reliably recock at high rof. I don't know how high you have ure lpr set but when I set my lpr I start with it turned ALL the way down and slowly turn it up until it reliably recocks then go 1/4 turn past it to make sure it will work reliably.
