98 Problems

   Has anyone experienced problems using co2 on a 98 custom without anti-syphon or x-chamber or regulator?
If so, how bad was it and how can you fix it?

	c02 works fine on the 98c. an xchamber or regulator would help though.

	What, is it broken? CO2 should not break anything or be harmful to the gun. Tippmanns handle CO2 pretty good.

	I had a few problems here and there with velocity spikes until I got an expansion chamber, which cut them down significantly. I used that setup for for about 2 years until about 6 months ago when I finally went to Low Pressure air. I love the new system. It is a pricey upgrade though, with secondary regulators and tanks costing more than the internals added to the gun. So, to repeat, at least get an expansion chamber. The official Tippman one is very reliable, and extremely easy to add to your 98 custom. Edited by mikey1477

	I froze an o-ring once but that was after I tried to make my own r/t and couldn't stop the trigger from shooting lol. You will be fine though. Edited by Robert C

	Never had any bad experiences wit mine...I use a remote as the expansion chamber and I dont have to worry bout gettin an anti-siphon tube fer my 20oz co2 tank cus the tank sits vertically in my tactical type thigh tank pouche and I dont even have think bout using a reg wit my setup....its good to go the way it is.

	If you are too cheap then just get the vertical adapter. It would hold the bottle vertical so that the liquid co2 will stay in the bottom of the tank, also it will give you a much smaller profile.
