It works, but I wouldn't do it..I've had macrolines burst on me from CO2. It kinda hurts.

Ya it will work with co2, but I'd use steel braided hoses because they are stronger.

It will work but it depends on the gun such as you shouldn't put macroline on a tippmann 98c it'll just break the macroline.

I dont see why it would break, c02 is a much lower PSI than HPA, and macrolines are rated at 10,000 PSI i believe.

Velocity/pressure spikes with CO2 is one good reason not to use them. I'm not making this up..I've had one blow on my before...Liquid CO2 spraying all over your arm at 800+ psi is not fun. I do not reccomend the use of macroline with CO2. I use it with HPA with no problem, but if you want to be safe with CO2, stick with steel braid.

Benji is not making this stuff up.
I would also suggest using steel braided for your A-5. Not only because of breaking, but because the macroline on my A-5 leaks all the time. I have to adjust it everytime we go out so it stops leaking. Save yourself some effort and get steel-braided. |

Yep, I had a marco line blow on my A-5/Co2. I plan on switching back to steel braided unless I go lp.

I've always had Macroline on my custom, and i've never had a problem with it...however, its probably because I don't play often as much as others do. Im out there maybe once a month (if that) now, and plus, I got a different marker, so.... I think as long as you keep the macroline as straight as possible (pretty difficult with a tippmann) you'll be ok with CO2. Just get the steel |
