Well at least you can see a major disaster comin at you, Im in California and theres no way at all when the next "Big One" (an earthquake) will happen....the last big one I experienced was back in 1989, which was kinda cool at the time...huge city wide power outtages and within those 3 days of no electrical power, there wasnt much to do but, "Party Up" wit mah homies and my gf at the beach.

..... Drought.... But you can get fake grass so you never have to mow again. Oh, and don't EVER let your pets out at night in Arizona... I suggest Ohio, or Michigan.

OMG! not Ohio, puuuuleeeeeessssssseeee! lol I have been to Cleavland, man that is one smelly city. I am a huge Steelers fan, I was supposed to go see my boys beat up on the fish down here in Miami this weekend, but thanks to Jeanne that isnt happing now and Frances ruined our 8hr/birhtday party. God forbid we have any fun in Florida this summer. Fake grass aye? Is that like plastic or do ya just pave your yard and paint it green? |

lol Ryan. Yep been there too. Colorado would be sweet. I grew up in NY and skied since I was 14. I still have my set of RD Couger, 190's with 677 Salomon bindings. Living here in florida sucks during the winter because of no snow. I visit my friends in NC and go hit the mountains there once a year, money permitting. But this winter I have paintball to look forward too. While most of you northerns are freezin your butts off we will be enjoying 70 degrees! Well unless all these hurricanes obliterate florida and it goes under water. |

We play at Hurricane Paintball Park in PalmBay. (ironic aye?) Yeah Ryan we just got the park back to somewhat playable conditions by sunday morning. I voluntered about 10-12 hours of my time rebuilding bunkers and clearing the woods. Traveler, if you play around here bookmark my team site, I do updates all the time about the park, like special events, and other news about the park. Link is in my signature. Hope to see you out there next weekend, thats if it is still there. Im sure if we get hit bad we will need help rebuilding once again. Come on out I got to play for free sunday afternoon for all the hard work I did. |

It looks like a cool place to play, I'll have to come up and check it out. Living in Broward, I usually play in Boca. Our field was pretty badly damaged as well, there are still a few trees that need removing, but we have plenty of lumber now to use for bunkers.

Yeah man when it gets below 70 it feels cold to me now. My blood has thinned out I guess. Yep, same here Traveler you should see all the bunkers I made in the pines. I made a 20-30 foot long snake. lol Other half of the pines is still badly damaged with allot of pine trees down. Its going to take a big chainsaw to cut them suckers up. "the pines" is a section of the field that is apart of an Australian Pine forest, its pretty kool. Sundays are the best days to play. If you plan on comming up on a sunday private message me here or at my team site, I would be glad to meet ya and show ya around. There is a speed ball field too if your into that sorta thing. |

Yeah, I'll definitely have to come and check it out. Our chainsaw has been working overtime, the lumber has come in handy. When the tree stumps were pulled up, they left large holes that immediately filled with water. If the water level drops low enough I suppose they'll make good foxholes. For the moment though, the only good they are doing is making a place for the mosquitos to breed. Our field is set up in the woods, but we use it primarily for speedball. If enough players show up we expand the field to include the woods. Saturdays and Sundays we usually get a good crowd, ten on ten is fun, twenty on twenty sometimes seems like the battle of the bulge. I would have liked to play tomorrow, but the gun show is in town and I need a new rifle. Most likely Sunday will be a washout, so I'll have to wait until next week. That is unless another storm shows up.

Shush, no more storms!! Yeah on a typical sunday we have anywhere from 20 on 20 to 30 on 30's. It has been slow lately but you can understand why. Jeanne looks like its heading south, right for Martin county. Hope you fair ok, let us know how things went after you get your power and internet back. Take care man, God speed. |
