I just sold my expensive Armotech Sim-4, and bought a new C-98. I want to take the rest of the money to use for up grades. questions #1 I think I am going to go with a Lapco Bigshot barrel. What is the best length, is 12inches good, what is the difference between 8inch, 12inch, 14 inch, ect? #2 What is the ball size/core for the lapco bigshot. I think it is .697, What is a good paintball for that size and barrel? #3 I got a drop fwd, and a nitro bottle today so that is taken care of, nitro is better right? #4 I am not going to play in any tournaments in the next year probably, so is the r/t trigger good. the do let you have it at my reg. field. I have a electric hopper, Is a electric hopper sufficaent, or do I need a force feed hopper. #5 I saw tha 32 degrees had a bolt for 30 dollars is this a good deal or should i stay with stock, any other brands that would be better. #6 What does polishing parts mean, and how do u do it, or where do u get it done.

The lapco barrels will offer just about no diff in performance between
the three sizes the main diff will be the ability to use a longer
barrel to push soft bunkers in with the barel to allow a smaller
portion of the gun to be visible while shooting.
Not shure the bore size of the lapco but i hear thee preety good with most feild paints test it when you get to the feild. Nitro (HPA) is better in the sence that it is more stable and will lessen the velocity spikes inhearit with Co2. But Co2 has some of its own advantages namigly that you get more shots out of a similar sized tank. Also Co2 is CHEAP. I used to have a 98c with a Rt an a Halo TSA hopper witch is Sound activated electric agitated hopper and it kept up fine with the RT but if you Really want to start tuning and ripping on the RT your best of getting a Force feed like the Eggy II. Other wise youl be fine with a Agitatior. The Stock bolt s fine and is quiet possibly the best one youl find Polishing parts is an home mod of debatable effectiveness (is that a word). Basically you just smoothing out the recievers of the gu to allow the parts to move more freely allowing for faster fireing rates. I myself am not A HUGE beliveir in this but then again i not a speed shooter. |

Mistake, The bore size for the Lapco Bigshot is .698. So what is the best paint for that size?
