No. The a5 flatline isnt threaded at all, its a barrel adapter that replaces the carbine threaded adapter in the a5 stock.

By the way say goodbye to your giant sig. 350x150 or so champ.

No the A5 Flatline Will NOT work BUT  98c Flatline is possible to mod to fit.  Personally i do like the flatlines but i dont think its worth it to do all the modification but hey it up to you. I have a pic of somebody elses Carbine with a 98c Flatline on if your intrested should help you figure out how to do it yourself.

Here you go.

I don't like the flatline all that much putting it on the carbine would be a waste and if you bought it thats a waste of money. Remember paintballs arn't round they're shaped like eggs and when you put a spin on an egg whats going to happen?

^^ its going to fly with a 100 foot flat trajectory. also if your paintballs look like eggs i think you might have a problem there.

The flatline is a great barrel and is not less acurate than any other barrel it just shoots much further so at its maximum range it has a larger spread but at another barrel's maximum range the spread is almost the same.

That said I think you should try this mod only if you really want to do it for the fun and bragging rights of doing it, but if you wanted it just to play with it every once and a while would just say save up and buy a 98c or a-5 and just put a flatline on one of those. I guese if your stuck on using procarbines and  just want the best procarbine you can get then i would say go for it.

Not too shure what was involved i imagine a barrel adapter (98c-A5 threads then the 98c to Flatline adapter then the flatline witch is all youd need also have to remove the Carbines barrel shroud.   But to get the Flatline shroud on there would require some milling of the shroud and some fabricating to mount it.
