Both are good markers , and each have their advantages , A5 easier to clean and maintain , 98c is a touch simpler mechanically and accepts wider variety of feed hoppers (IMHO , more fun to modify as well ) . Both perform well , with the addition of an aftermarket barell .

its not mp5 its A-5, and 98c (custom). Both are great, all the A-5 has on the 98c is the cyclone, so do you want to spend more on a little thing that is no big deal?

if your trying to decide which one to buy there both great. alot of
people think the 98c is better for speedball because it is smaller but
they both work great for woodsball.

It kinda is a big deal...never breaking a ball...yeah. The a5 uses excess c02 to run the cyclone OR you can buy the 98 and get an egg for $80 plus supplying batteries for it. Either way.

agreed .... and lots of ppl say that the only difference is cyclone. and yes this is one of the main diffences and difference in cost is about $120 Canadian, but a good electronic hopper would cost u. plus there are other advantages. the cost of a e-grip is cheaper then the e-bolt for the 98, the flateline for the a-5 is easier to adjust, u dont need a vertical adapter for the a-5 to accept a x-chamber. a-5 is also much easier to take apart, and has several other minor differences that make it better. the 98 is still really good, but sure isnt an a-5 edit: here is a detailed sillilarities/diffences about the a-5
