Nice caps... anyway...   the flatline does not "chop"
paintballs no matter how fast you shoot. Just for an
example... if you were chrono'd at 300fps and were
shooting 30 balls a second (this is VERY fast, an
E-Grip is capped at 15) then each paintball would be
30 feet apart. So, how does shooting fast through
the flatline break more balls??

Back to the subject!!!   Your first upgrade for a new
Tippmann gun should almost always be a new
barrel, get rid of that stock barrel as quick as
possible!!

you are a stupid newb drew. U r wrong about the Flatline and need to stop writing in caps. Calm down.

The Flaltine is the best barrel for woodsball. It will not chop balls any more than anormal barrel unless u use a really large bore paint. It's a great upgrade. Don't get the ebolt first becasue you might find that you don't need any of that stuff for your style of play.

I'd say get a flatline because like Fyre Fly said "your first upgrade should almost always be a new barrel."  That is so true, stock barrels aren't made to be a good barrell.  So get a flatline if that is the barrel you want.

after market products should b bought after u have determined wut u think u need.  Typically this is a new barrel (i know this is all repeat but it is important), i'd say go for a flatline if u think u r gonna b doin alot of shootin from far away.  if thats the case then u prolly won't need the RT, u'd jstu b wastin paint and money.  if u were shootin from far away, each ball si gonan b far apart and are only going 2 hit bhind the person if u shoot at em, but if u shoot in front u might b able 2 work suthin out....i wouldn't bother with an ebolt, if u play feilds u cna't use the auto.  On the nitro subject, prollythe last thing u wanna buy.  Most rec players use Co2 (correct me if i am wrong, i know every1 i play with/against uses Co2) and has only a few things better.  Stick 2 Co2.

^^ yea Co2 is great if its over 50 out.

But to answer your question i would go with the flatline first off, if you play woods, if your a speed ball player who plays anything but the back dont bother just get a freek or a big shot.

i personaly dont like e grips its just one more thing ot go rong on your marker. and bateries do get evpensive after a few years.

As for nitro i am gunna get 2 nitro tanks for the winter and then use Co2 in the summer. if you plan on winter play get a nitro/hpa tank. fiber is best but steel is ok if you dont mind the waight. also a stock and a remote will be your freinds if you are gunna be a sharpshooter.

if you want any more info on the remote and stock pm me i will be glad to help. as for the rest you be best off posting here.

Hope i helped you out

Thats exactly right the Flatline does NOT chop, ive had mine for little under half a year. I go 2 times a weekend every weekend. Ive only choped once and that was because i used my friends ghetto ass walmart balls.

Hey FyreFly, your math is a bit flawed there. 300FPS at 30BPS = 10 feet between each ball, but then again that would only occur in a vacuum. But still close to the end of the barrel the balls would be approximately 10 feet apart, and 10 feet apart is too far for balls to back up in the barrel.

I have seen plenty of Flatlines with R/Ts attached to them that have had no problem with high rates of fire.

If you play woodsball, get a flatline if you wish. But I would suggest a CP 1 piece barrel or the Lapco BigShot.

I'm a big fan of using a nitrogen tank on any paintball marker I shoot. The consistency is so much better (especially in cooler weather). That's what I'd upgrade first.

Check out the Crossfire tanks. They screw in, just like a CO2 tank and are very consistent, very reliable and super fast recharge rates.

You'll want the Crossfire tank with the high (800-850psi) output for your A5.

The caps are definitely annoying and he was wrong but that's still no excuse to flame him and call him a newb. I would suggest taking a more civil approach next time you disagree with somebody.
