It is one of the crappiest barrels on the planet. Spend a few extra bucks and get a J&J Ceramic. |

About 80% of the Forumers will say that tru-flight is a crappy good for nothin barrel. Actually it is halfway decent. The 14 and 16" barells they produce are really good, they have decent range and accuracy. Its a good barrel for a person on a budget.
If you want a crappy barrel go buy an 18inch smart parts all-american. Edited by Sarge14 |

Good lord - it has decent "range?" The Tru-Flight/Thunder Pig has exactly the same range as every other barrel on the planet that doesn't begin with "F" and end with "latline." The problem with Tru-Flight barrels is quality control. Many of their barrels work fine (Enos has one on his cocker), but many others are blending machines. With a quality product you don't need to worry about that, because every barrel will be good. And All-American is crappy? You must be kidding. Smart Parts barrels are excellent. 18 inches is too long for most people, but it is still a good barrel. |

If your looking for a low cost decent barrel, look into a J&J ceramic or a 32 degrees whisper.
