assuming a typical mechanical gun like a tippmann then 2 or 3 drops through the asa will do the trick. Some guns with solenoids its a bad idea.

3-4 drops is enough. Every few games, it is a good idea to take the gun apart and manually oil the different o-rings and the valve, bolt, etc.
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Im confused now. I have been under the impression that if you drop in 3-5 drops of oil, screw tank in and fire fun 5-7 times that that would oil the gun. Does that work enough, or does gun need to be taken apart and oiled as well?

What gun do you have?? If its a 98 3 drops in the asa & a couple on the back bolt/striker & your good to go. A5 you want to oil everything when you put it back together after cleaning. After that just a couple drops in the asa. Rememeber to pull your barrel off when firing to spread the oil thruout the marker. I do 15 to 20 shots. With my old 68 Special I ran with the old if the grip is drippin your good to go.
