    Posted: 21 October 2004 at 11:09pm

Well...  My main Phantom setup is the first one as follows...

The 2nd pic is what it is right now (still have to finish some connections obviously...

And the third picture is not mine, but I am getting a similar custom undercocking pump kit as on this Phantom (mine will be a dual rod however, not a single... they were out of the single anyway(!)

Anyway.. just though I would post some of the pics here and hear what some people have to say..  Also, nope,. I do not need to have two tanks on it at the same time because I shoot a lot of paint.. in fact, I play very efficiently... air and paint wise!  However.. I am making my setup this way because... well, I can!  Oh well.

Thanks for being patient with the loadin(!)

Hey.. is anyone going to be at Skirmish this Halloween?  I am (along with my part of my fraternity chapter)... Haven't played since last Easter break! It shall be good to get back in the sport.

I think it looks weird having two tanks. I really like the looks better when they run on 12 grams.
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Yeah, serious... Two 12oz tanks is OVERKILL... I personally like to use a 4oz or 12g's on my phantom because it helps keep the gun so light.

You should look into getting a stock class setup on that. I personally think that stock class (even if you don't use 12g's) is the only way to play with a phantom.

two 20 ounces would probably break my .45 grip frame.. well, almost maybe... however, it is fully connected right now, and I am awaiting my undercocking pump kit!  Also, once again, I do not NEED to have 2 tanks on it at once... however... some people may run a 20 ounce tank.. I can, however, run two 9 ounce tanks on it.. and it will be pretty balanced (tested the feeling of it in the local pball store around here earlier today... and it is quite interesting!)... Also, I can use my quick change on the 2nd CA adapter with eithe ra dead 12 gram and it will seal only using one tank.. or I also have a "plug" I can put into the 2nd CA adpater so it isn't like I NEED to have two tanks every time I play... I just think it is neat that I have a choice now..I can either use one or two tanks, with both of the CA's being connected and are active.

Updated pics of "the project"

Well, both CA adapters are active, alive, well, and more importantly, leak free! (knock on wood).  Anyway, the good thing is, is that i have a plug I can put in any of the two CA adapters.. so I do not HAVE to play with 2 tanks all the time... I have play with a tank and a quick changer... two tanks.. or only one tank.. or only one 12 - gram quick changer.... choices choices.... it's a good thing.

The extra piece allowing me to connect another bottomline hose to the primary bottomline CA adapter is not a Lapco piece, (so I have been told or I have read) that those pieces are not made anymore.  I do not know what brand it is... Where did I get it from?  Why, e-bay of course!  Those piece were actually mainly used (or supposed to be used) for VM-68's since they are such gas-hogs... However, I am using it for another marker; obviously.

-YOu really think it is going to shoot ice?  So far so good...
