"I'll bet you're the kind of guy that would *obscenity* a person in the ass and not even have the goddam common courtesy to give him a reach-around. I'll be watching you."

Beautiful, just beautiful.

I love that movie too, infact I love all of Kubrick's films. Last year I took film studies for an english elective and I did a presentation with two friends of mine on kubrick films, i focused on Full Metal Jacket. There are many things to pay attentino to in the movie, for instance the audio kubrick chooses and the irony of many of the scenes also the transitions he uses between scenes, most notebly the transition between the suicide and Vietnam.
All about the Snow.

I dont know. I mean, its not a bad movie at all. As a matter of fact it is pretty darn good, but not as good as so many people make it. It just seems that too many people say "OMG BEST WAR MOVIE EVER OF ALL TIMEZ!!" without really watching anything else. Not to mention too many people like it just for the taunts from the Drill Sargents.

Platoon rocks FMJ. I found the actual war parts of FMJ to be lacking, the training was so good though.
