I was looking into getting a mech cocker. But then i thought about it more. How much faster and more effiecient is an 03 WGP vert cocker (or any mech cocker) then my 98c. they are both mech! So what is the Main difference? thanks

Auto Cockers run differently, I suck at going into detail about it, you
can upgrade a cocker more, it's more efficient (from what I've heard),
um yeah...meh.

cockers are totally different. their closed bolt penmumitic operation. cockers mech, are the only way to do it, I had a e-cocker, all it is is problems most the time. keep it mech and u should have no problems, and they sound better and quieter too. tippmanns are loud, better built, and harder to clean. seeing on cockers all u got to do is lube the ram and bolt if its not delrin. go cocker; keep it mech. if u want electro, go with a diff gun. HOPE IT HELPS! ~ mike . |

Dont listen to that retard up there. (I know him so is jokingly.)
Cockers are great markers. More upgradeable, but can be a pain out of the box to time. If you decide on getting a cocker makesure you learn about the marker first, you need to know how to time it. But other than that, i would take a cocker over a 98c just as preference. Electronic cockers own, your just an idiot mike. |

Cockers are nice if you have the money to upgrade the 3-way, ram, and barrel. I love mine. I could sure use an E2, though.

Yeah that brings up another point, if you plan on upgrading a cocker
without a steady flow of cash...dont even bother. Unless you ahve
a pile of money to drop onto a cocker at one time and plan to upgrade
mroe but wont have money for a while, it may not suit you the best.

I have a Cocker and love it, it is so much more accurate than my 98. Oh and Seawolf is there a big difference between the frame you have on your cocker and the WGP hinge frame?

I loved my mech cocker. I love it even more now that i have an E2 on it. The thing is if you plan on upgrading it alot get a cocker because a cocker with an Eblade is much better then a 98c with an ebolt. A mech cocker is very quiet and accurate. As for the 98c you need to completly open it up to clean it. Also the 98c stock barrel really sucks. The stock 03 cocker is faily good. As for the difference in rate of fire, there will not be a large difference. The only difference you will come by is the cocker is easier to fire. Remember the cocker has a 2 stage trigger pull, if you don't trip the second stage you will turn your gun into a paint blender. Although I never had a problem with this some might. Again the ebalde sloves this problem. I personaly would get another cocker if i was upgrading, I do miss my 98c but I am happy.
