How can I make a trigger stop for the JCS Duel trigger? I noticed last night that it has A LOT of over travel. It's made of metal so I can't put a grub screw in the top of it. I don't want to put a q-tip in there inside the spring because it'll get smaller with every trigger pull; eventually becoming too small for any purpose at all. The only way I can think of is to put a grub screw in the trigger guard but I don''t think that'll look too hot.

Any ideas? Thanks.

well here's what i used as my trigger stop.. or you could use the small piece from the stock trigger guard (just cut off the guard itself, and use the little square piece)

(ignore the led)

I would do that if I had a 98. A-5's don't have a place to tap and put a set screw. They do have an rt hole but that's plastic and it's thin plastic in that area. Wait, not on the E-Grip. What am I thinking? And A-5's don't have two places for the trigger guard for what you're saying on the second idea. I actually did both of the things you suggested on my old 98 Custom. I did the LED mod also which was awesome. But that gun went away on eBay a couple of months ago. I loved that gun.

I'm looking for an internal trigger stop if possible. My last resort is the screw through the guard.

I was looking to do this same thing with my A5 but all I can think of is putting a screw or something in the trigger guard.

I think I might have to do that if no one else has any ideas. Did you end up putting it through the trigger guard?

hey i have an a-5    i just put a screw and screwed it into the r/t hole.  this is good because u can adjust untiull its short enough   onces u have  it at you adjusted likings    super glue it around the frame  so when u pull the trigger it won't get push in.      i just did his and it owrks great      Just don't plan on getting the r/t in the future

I would do that but the E-Grip doesn't have an r/t hole. On my former 98, I tapped a hole their and did what model98.net said. But that doesn't work on this gun.

Jeez im suprised they didnt put one there for the overtravel. You still can drill a hole in it though.

I guess I can. Just drill a hole and tap it. I'll end up doing that or putting it through the guard.

JCS should have implemented one into the trigger some how.

I just made a trigger stop from a set screw in the guard..it works alright but I need to find something to cover the set screw so there isnt a metal on metal sound when I pull the trigger.

/\ I think that sound would be pretty cool. I just don't think it would look good. I want an internal one but I don't know if it's worth risking a 35 dollar trigger.

Boydster...are you talkin about like the trigger stop by a set screw drilled in the front part of the trigger? like on any trigger job on here? I'm not going to do that since I can't afford $35 to get a new trigger if i screw up....college student=no money :(

Yes, yes. Exactly what I was thinking. And I too can't really afford a new trigger. I might just drop this whole ordeal and live with it.
