I'm a woods/spools player with a 98.  I'm using an xchamber/jj 2piece 12"/double trigger.  My rate of fire isn't the greatest, but with where I'm playing it isn't critical...here's the deal.

A friend of mine is offering a deal on an e-bolt upgrade for the price of a flatline...If I was some wanna-be speedballer it would be a no brainer, but I'm fat and old so I have no illusions of Tourney-play in this lifetime.  I've played against high-end markers and held my own, where judicial aiming has played a bigger part in success than spray-and-pray...thats why the flatline is attractive.  I've read the pro's vs cons on the flatline, and I think I'm pretty educated on them...but man, the ROF of an e-bolt is calling my name...but I'm not looking to upgrade to nitro, nor am I looking to upgrade to a LPA...two things that would really help with an e-bolt (so I understand)  frozen internals or a frosted board would bring my pballing to a screetching halt.

So I'm asking you guys what you think.  I'm a woods/spools player, and a long reach would be useful...but hosing folks upclose and personal has it's plus side as well.

ok u play

woods = flatline
spools = regualr barrel ( bigshot )

i say the bigshot, its like $50 and a great barrel (u dont need to shoot far)

now the e-bolt = as fast as a e-spyder, e-spyder is cheaper

For woodsball definitely go flatline. It always gets to the far targets making an unexpected visit to your target
