cockers - they have a hype of always breaking, or being hard on maintenance, etc. (They're not, and if you think they are you should quit the sport) pro carbines - people see thme as slow un-upgradable markers that are for "sniping" etc. as many people have showen, enos being one, pro carbines can be made into magnificant markers that can really rip. vikings - people judge most of them by their boxy, unnapealing looks, when they are one of the best markers around |

I wouldnt say borgs are underrated, I think the reason there arent many around is that theres a long waiting list to get one. Imma agree with you that vikings and excals are defenitely underrated. I think that cockers arent really over/underrated. Because when they work theyre great. And its usually the retards that break them then talk crap.

CCM Series 5 - best made, most underrated mech cocker available. Same parts as the $800 J2 cocker, just not milled to be all pretty and super-light. Slap an E2 on there, and you have a super-high end gun for relativly cheap considering all that you get. Edited by JBird33 |

probably pro-carbines. also in some places tippmann 98cs are underrated. mostly people with spyders say that 98cs suck. well they're wrong. just like people with tippmanns dont like spyders. i dont see how they'd be that bad. other than the breaking down more.

Yea borgs are getting a lot of reccognition right now Vikings are definitely left out a lot ... but I think smart parts has as much to do with that as the boxy looks ... I have never heard a bad thing about their performance from anyone who owns one. Cockers are both under and over rated. It is very easy to time them and maintence is not too hard, but if you think the maintence involved is less then other markers costing the same you are crazy. You can have 4 things on a cocker that can cause the same exact problem so you have to check everything. I've seen tourney guys who have played for years have to take extra time to work on problems that would be easier to fix wtih another marker. So yea they do get a bad rap because they are super accurrate and quiet markers and they are not so hard to work on as everyone says, but at the same time I could get an Easier to maintain Impulse or other maker that is electronic for the cost of a nice mech cocker. I think they are overpriced until you get to the Race Gun and Half Block cockers IMO. |

look at my Sig...
I Agree with what people say about cockers but, the only thing I hate about them is that if you dont time them correct the tend to be your worst enemy. |

No they don't. People that don't like cockers either don't know how to use them correctly, or are too stupid to try. My cocker is a sweet gun. So go talk trash somewhere else. You don't see me jumping into every thread I can and saying "impulses suck" or "angels suck." So many mindless haters these days. If you don't like a gun, that's fine. Just don't go around posting this kind of useless babble. |
