I am starting up a field with a friend & need some advice on
equipment. right now I am looking for a co2 fill station & a
chronograph. found a bunch at 888paintball but was wondering who had
the best prices. any brands/models of these to stay away from? thanks

Brass Eagle doesn't make field equip to my knowledge, but stay away from everything they make - including paint. Check ebay for good deals on digital scales and fill stations.Look around at local construction companies for scrap plywood for bunkers (unless you can afford to buy inflatables). If you lived in a populated area netting is a must. You probably will want to look at this. |

Make sure if your playing on someone elses property to ask first, or just hide it really well. My friends and I had a wicked field hidden behind a range of small hills. And the owner still found it and forced us to rip it apart.

Yes, be sure to have permission to use the property. We play on county land, which isn't exactly legal, but since we keep the trash picked up and keep the place reasonably neat, the Sheriff's dept doesn't bother us. It helps that some of the deputies play with us from time to time.
