good ones are made and checked for certain specifications to ensure quality. cheap ones are just made and bagged.

paint like marbs are more accurate than the cheap wal-mart brand paint. example: would you rather shoot blue streak and when you aim at a person on the left you hit the person standing behind you. well that's kinda how it is(but a little exadirated here). marbs will shoot straighter than wal-mart paint.

It comes down to.... people are willing to spend $60 for a case of paint if it means the will have something resonably accurate when they are shooting at their friends.

i think the fact that we NEED good, reliable, paint gives the manufacturers reason to make it so expinsive.

Hehe,  From what I have heard fields would sell paint in 10 round tubes, a dollar a tube.

I am more than happy with paint prices today.  $30 gets my a thousand marbs, its good enough for me.

the price will only come down more if more people start playing paintball.

and paintball is the fastest growing sport at the moment.

if it moves it becomes a target

and snipers don't exist in paintball!! get that in your heads people!!

another reason paint may be cheaper at wally world is it may be older , and nearing its shelflife limit , there is usually a Julian date code on the case somewhere (4 digits most often , with the week of the year 1-54 , and the year ) something like this 4803xxx , or xxx4803 , this paint being made late in the year (48th week ) of the year 2003 .

SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Tuff Enuf .
Widowmaker , under construction

Prices on anything wont get any cheaper, new equipment is always being created so they can manufacture more quality balls fer the players...prices on Marbs and Premiums went up during the summer, regardless how many more people are gettin into the sport...and you should remember, the people that runs the machines and maintains the maufacturing plants needs the money from the sales that the paintball company makes and not to mention....the delivery costs to the stores and shops that are selling them.

actually if more people play the more piant will need to be made, teh more paint made the more teh company loses in supplys so they raise the price to get a good profit. but , with todays technolegy new ways to make piantballs cheaper and more efficent are being developed so maybe the price will go down
i reject reality and substitute my own
