Look at the 1996 ESPN game-500 by 200 ft field, 10 players per team (or so, not sure actual numbers, think that was it though).  They said that the players carried "1500-2500 rounds onto the field".  Now, that's pretty insane.  And, it's a 20 minute game, once you eliminate the other guys, you have something like a minute to get the flag from their end of the field and back to your flag station for the hang.  Anway, interesting video, check it out.
