I have noticed on HPA tanks that it says use no oil on the end and wondered that if I have HPA, can I still put oil in my 98 Custom's ASA and fire to help oil the gun?

Thanks.

You can still do that, just don't put any oil in the valve near the pin of the tank. Oiling the tank's Oring is safe and still recremended. Well i have anyway with out a problem.

I seem to recall an APG article a few years ago stating that some types of Oil work better for Nitro systems and some work better for co2. I think it was in a review for the bushmaster.

i guess if you put oil in the valve it will go into the tank and may cause some nasty problems like the oil igniting (i doubt that will happen) or the tank bursting because liquids are not compressable like air so it wil want to fly out or it could just screw up the valve.

but yo can still put oil into the asa and oring and shoot it through.

if it moves it becomes a target.
