my friend(he's not really my friend but i talk to him) has this mini ipod and he never lets me listen to it. so i was thinking of buying one for my self until i heard the price. so i was wondering is there a mp3 that has built in memory for no more than 150 dollars that has a similar theme of a mini ipod

Most all do have built in memory.. either flash or on a HD.

Try finding an older gen iPod used. Could probably find one cheap.

Creative labs Nomad Muvo 2 has 4 gb smaller than the mini ipod, and IMO better. Got mine for 170 of newegg. The deal might be over now though. But definetly go for one of those. Awesome players.

mini ipods are great though, and they are built tough. if u want a used one you can probally get one of ebay.... gl

Mini disc players are nice, no built in memory but still small, easy to use, and 5 hours of music on 1 minidisc

I honestly think the Apple players are the best. My family has three.

There are rumours of a new iPod with flash memory that'll be much cheaper, so keep a look out for after christmas.
