Hey, I have a Tippy A5 with a 32 degrees Ice Cold barrel - For all of you who say this barrel sucks, guess again. It's not as accurate as the flatline, but I guarentee you that it could pull well over 180 feet....No freakin' joke. I've had many people ask me at my field to use my gun. Of course, I always say no, but back to the point. I have a Tippy A5 with Response Trigger and 32 Degrees Ice Cold, 14 inch barrel. I'm wanting to upgrade my gun this holiday season, I've been thinking a lot.....Possibly a 14 inch Lapco Bighsot with Machine gun shroud, maybe an aluminum grip....Then I saw the Flatline with the attached shroud...Where do people find this? I think it's a great upgrade and I am seriously considering the Flatline barrel system for my marker.

Tell me what you all would do if you were in my shoes and why....And don't deny my Barrels capabilities...I know what it can do and what it can't....

Heres some things that might help in your decision making.

If I was given something easy to put on my gun, I could do it....I play woods,(or places that consider high accurate, far firing markers) I can't afford to spend 700 dollars.....And I plan to keep my A5 for a good long time.....Unless it just starts freakin' up...which it won't....

Flatline
Palmer Male stabalizer
HPA
a stock besides the CAR stock because a lot of people like to aim down the gun and you cant with a mask on.
a double trigger
a drop because you cant have your tank sticking out farther than your stock
But just look into things that sound cool to you.

The flatline comes with the shroud but you can buy a metal shroud seperately but i don't think it covers the whole barrel

Um, a conventional barrel will not shoot 180 feet (accurately at least). At 280fps, a paintball will have dropped 4 inches at 50 feet. At about 75 feet it will have dropped 6-8 inches. I can understand your fanatic devotion to your barrel that you've purchased, but you're a little off on the range of it. Your 32* will shoot no farther than any other conventional barrel at 280fps. All barrels shoot the same range except the flatline. And if you're barrel isn't even as accurate as a flatline (not the most accurate barrel out there) then well you might want to step up to that Lapco.

The Lapco Bigshot is a great barrel. It has a very good internal bore. Lapco hones their barrels meticulously under the watchfull eye of the perfectionist Colin Thompson. That man is scrupulous as they come. If you feel you want a better barrel and are thinking about the Lapco then yeah go for it. As long as you use decent medium bore paint in it, it should shoot great.
