Every time that I've played paintball either I rented a gun or a friend let me use one. I need to buy one what would be the best overall marker for a beginner. I was thinking a 98 custom.

Yes, 98c is a great beginner gun. It is low matienience and it is just a great overall gun. i would go for it.

I have to say 98C, it is a great beginner marker, and you can upgrade it a lot, almost every manufacturer of paint-ball accessories makes parts and upgrades for it. It is really easy to maintain. |

Look at the a5 and 98 those are your best two options or the pro carbine they are all way good for a beginner but the a5 is a lot more expensive
