Every time that I've played paintball either I rented a gun or a friend let me use one. I need to buy one what would be the best overall marker for a beginner. I was thinking a 98 custom.

Yes, 98c is a great beginner gun. It is low matienience and it is just a great overall gun. i would go for it.

yup...for that price, I think thats prolly the best. But if you could get an A-5, that would pwn even more

I have to say 98C, it is a great beginner marker, and you can upgrade it a lot, almost every manufacturer of paint-ball accessories makes parts and upgrades for it.

It is really easy to maintain.

Look at the a5 and 98 those are your best two options or the pro carbine they are all way good for a beginner but the a5 is a lot more expensive
