I just went to the osceola extreme sports to get my co2 tank filled, and they filled it up with compressed air. I have a Tippmann Model 98, will this mess my marker up at all, or better blow me up? lol

First off, they're morons. I'd go back and complain right away. Second, are you sure it's compressed air? That's not filled by screwing the tank threads into anything like co2 is, it's filed through a fill nipple, which co2 tanks don't have. And finally, your 98 will run fine, if not better, on compressed air. But if it really is air, just take the tank back to them and complain, instead of messing with it.

im not sure, usually i get my tank filled at sports authority, and i kno thats co2, because the moisture condensesonto the tank, and the tank gets cold. at osceola extreme sports i heard a pump running, or sumthing like that, and the tank wasnt cold at all. I got a lot of strange looks walking around a mall with a co2 tank though

Was the tank very warm feeling? If it got filled with air, it'll be really nice and warm feeling right afterwards.

I've seen a fiber wrapped nitro tank filled with co2 once, that made me really sad, but never the other way around.

ok first off. Its impossible to get a cO2 tank filled with HPA. First your burst disc would have went off.

Second CO2 fills through the valve. HPA fills through a quick dis-connect.

Therefor Your totally full of bull**edited**.
