dont spend to much time shooting out of ur bunker. snap shooting is a big part of speedball, the more shots u can get off in the shortest amount of time the better ull b. a drill i do myself in my room or somewhere is find a mirror and get ur gun and turn the safety off, NO AIR or if ur tank is empty screw it on. snap out as to where u see ur self in the mirror, pull the trigger as though u r firing at someone, and then snap back in or out of ur sight in the mirror.
another thing is dont get tunnel vision. if uve been playing out of the right side of the bunker, go see whats happening on the left side of the bunker so u dont get bunkered urself. one last thing is to do is go practice shooting ur gun with ur oposite hand, like i shot with my right so i practice with my left. |

It's going to take a few games to get a feel for it. Don't be afraid to move, if you're playing anywhere but the back you should be running like hell. Watch the other teams closely as they play, it'll give you an idea what works on that particular field. If your team comes up with a plan of play that works, stick with it from game to game. Don't expect to do all that great at first. I got lit up like crazy my first few games, but I got much better as time went on. Your gun set up should be fine. |

Snap ishooting is also known as reflexive shooting. And in
speedball is essential for most players. Practice, practice, play
and practice more.
Get as much extra paint as you can afford and just drill. Have you and your team mates chosen where you want to play? Positions, front, mid, tape or rear? Your fastest person needs to be on front. Taking as much field as possible. With a 14 you might consider mid tape or rear. Rear is a player with good multi tasking. You need to be able to cover the whole field. And spray to lay down covering fire for players advancing. Good luck and let us know how you do. |

A perpetual 'newbie'. Always learning, hopefully always enjoying it as much as the first game.
