Is there a specific site that lists and shows all the cocker frames, or am I better off doing a google search for them. Also, in your opinion, what is the best frame? Another thing, are there different bodies for cockers? Can all bodies be turtled? The reason I am asking is because I am thinking about buying an 03 vf cocker and was wondering what all I could do to make it mine. Thanks in advance! Edited by sinisterNorth |

Not sure theres a site with all the frames, but alot of sites sell frames, I can tell you the types of frames- Slider, Hindge, E-Blade, Race. and Bodies, yes their are many different kinds of cocker bodies, almost all of them can be turtled or fastbacked. www.turtlecocker.com I think the whole kit with a 03 body is like 450 or 350, so you might wanna look into that before buying the cocker, then sending it in.

Keep in mind that the 03 cocker does not have a clamping feeneck and you can not put one one it, unless you want to do it home-made style with a hose clamp like I did an hour ago.

at pb review you can see all the cocker frames. i wouldnt trust their reviews though, they tend to be biased. heres what i did before i bought my old turtle. write out a list of your dream gun. ie: what body, barrel, internals, trigger frame, pneus, anno, etc. send it in an email to bob long at turtle cockers and he will give you an estimate. i had a rediculous outkast setup including aka reg, best pneus, nexus internals, turtle valve, powerlyte frame, etc. all top of the line, and it came around 750-800. thats insanly cheap, i couldnt get a reg outkast with all that stuff for under 1k. i dont know how he does it. Check out Ebay, you'll find all kinds of frames, most with good pics.

I like the Kapp Reflex frame...
MadCocker is a good site for autococker stuff. They have a lot... except for a black magic cocking rod

Thanks for the help guys. I am seriously thinking about purchasing a cocker soon. I dont know a whole lot about cockers yet, but is the clamping feedneck thing a problem? I know this is opinion, but what do you all think are some of the best things for cocker upgrades? Thanks again! |

the claming feedneck can be put on the Prostocks if you send them in to WGP.
