ok read this before answerign plz!

i play all around, mostly backman

i play like hardcore speedball in the HRL (Houston Rookie League) and i need a higher end gun.  im not gonna buy a tippmann so dont even try tellin me.

Intimidator--most likely gonna get a new04 lasoya (theyre real cheap now that the new yr models are out) but maybe a 2k2 or sumthin

05 Angel Speed--it would be new unless i could find someone in my area with a used one for a good price

DM4--this would def. have to be used. 

Matrix--i dont know much about trixes tho.  ive heard some ppl say that they break too easily.

E-Cocker--this is my last choice out of all of them.  if i get one it would be a nightkast or an e-orracle or sumthin...i dotn want a Karnie.

keep in mind im tryin to spend about 900 MAX.  preferably less than that.  if u live in southeast texas and have anything along these lines ud like to sell me then PM me i check on here every day or so.

when u get into guns that high.... its mostly personal preference, i am personally an angel fan (dont have one, but want one!).

Sonic cyborg. Hehe the forums finally giving some love for the borg.


Some of it's personal pref Try to get to shoot as many of them as possible. I can tell you from experience the Sonic cyborg will preform the best out of all of those IMO.

Angel 05 Speed for sure. fast, reliable, not a gas hog lol, most advanced
trigger in paintball, awsome price. If u were u go for the angel 05 speed,
altho the other guns are good too. The only con i can think of for the
angel is that u dont get a crazy milling job, but its easier to clean that
way lol. Angel!!!!

Correction.  A new reg won't help efficiency at all.  Perhaps you should rephrase or figure out what a reg does.  Trigger setup is internal (i.e. must remove the grip frame), so in my mind, a pain in the a**.

reticule--i know ppl ask what guns to get all the time and i already had a good idea of what i wanted and i have shot most of those guns (i think all but the 05 speed) but i just wanted to see what ppl who had owned some of these guns had to say about their performance over a long period of time.  the link u posted was about 05 speeds only.  i need to know about all of these guns. 

and to all of yall that are sayin it--no i dont want a borg just dont like em.

Go for the 05 speed. I've played a few games with one and first off- weight wise, I noticed that with both a full 45/45 and an egg it is the lightest marker out of all of them.  The only downside, is that you are going to need an LP output tank, unless you do the minireg mod. For speed, I must say, the thing rips and the trigger is very changeable, whether you like it short and snappy to long and light, it is very versatile. Efficiency is pretty good, around 1300 shots off a 45/45 so can't complain over there. I played the whole day and did not chop 1 ball, so the eyes were working flawlessly.  Overall, it is a greatly made gun, and performs very well, and now they come with a .45 frame incase you dont like the space frame.  You would get the best bang for your buck with the 05 speed

when your looking to buy an angel, dm4, timmy, e cocker.... as you listed above, it all really comes down to how you like the trigger.

I`ve shotten a dm4, timmys (not the 05`s) , and e cocker. and i can say they all rip.

but how about you shoot other peoples guns that are in your so call "league" and make a desicion on your own.

IMO the dm4 is the most solid fealing

im leaning towards the 05 speed.  ive basically ruled out everything besides timmy and speed.  the only thing with the speed is that the reg is now unable to be changed out in the 05 models.
