Hi, I am not very new to paintball but was wondering if any one could tell me what a ringer is. I read that someone was thrown from a game for ringers or they won because they had ringers... What is a ringer???

A ringer is when a amatuer team brings in a pro to play with them. It is not unique to paintball, happens in all sports. In most amatuer sports, it is illegal for a pro (paid player) to participate.
