For a front marker you want the lightest smallest marker the dm4 is none of those. The ICD free style is tiny. For a good front marker I'd look into the ICD free style and the Macdev cyborg.

yea, the DM4 is more of a backman gun IMO, get an alias or sumthing or if u wanna save money the freestyle cause its small, light and just as fast

 

I thought my opinion on this was going to conflict with Civilians opinion but....

I don't see how a gun of this level could be bad for any position. 

Also when I play woodsball I get ALOT of guys with mil-sim guns that say "I bet your gun is awsome for speedball".  I tell them it's an awsome gun for woodsball and it's funny to see the look on their face.  They almost seem confused when I say that.

As far as gun height size etc. I don't see how this is an issue.  Reguardless of the inch or so difference either your mask, body, shoulder, some part of your body is going to be behind the gun.  If it's not then you're firing blind.

Another point on gun height. A shot at the profile is where this would matter and if someone get's to your flank and shoots the side of your gun before you shoot them you deserve to get shot.

 

 

I personally don't care for the Shockers feel.  For me the height of the gun would comprimise my prefered shooting position.  I like the barrel to be near eye height and this would mean one huge drop in order to keep the tank mounted in front of my shoulder.

If you're coming from a left or right feed gun and moving to a center feed gun and you shoot with your weak eye closed it can be very weird holding the gun high in your line of site.  Both eyes open and focus on the target makes the feed neck and hopper disappear.
