what should i get for xmas narrowed the feild to spyder rodeo tippmann a5 or tippmann 98 maybe some of yall guys will know witch gun i should get.

98c.  Well, the a-5 is alright but i would prefer a 98c.
The desire for polyester is just to powerful.

I wouldn't get the Rodeo. But the A-5 and 98 are both good guns and close to the same in performance. So go use both and see which one you like the best.

id go with an a5 or a rodeo.  this is the tippmann forum so most ppl will tell u tippmann b/c their love of tippys brought them here in the first place but the rodeo is a really good gun too.

i have the A-5 and the 98 c. and i love them both but i would say the A-5 but it depends how long u have been playing if u r really new to the sport get teh 98 c. but if u have been playing a while get the A-5

Go with a Pro/Carbine... dont make the same mistake I made and buy a 98c and dump over 300$ worth of upgrades, and then find out 50% of those upgrades do absolutley nothing.

it all depened on your money and your style, i like the a-5 but i wouldnt buy one for 2 main reason, i dont like the feel of the over all maker, and i dont like the price. i also like somthing of the marker though the cyclon feed, i love that thing,

I use to own a 98c i sold it for the same reason panda man said no much money to upgrade, and it could never go past 13 ball, unless u get the r/t but that iligal where i go.

i also Loved my 98c, it was dependable, when my friend spyders where braken down bolt getting jams mine was always ready to go, mabey that why they all got one.

It really come down to you both are dependable makers and are great.

well in my opinion it all depends on what you play because i personally play in the woods, and i currently have a 98c w/flatline and that works rather well for me. but if youre lookin for speed id say a5, and the rodeo is a good starter gun i guess. just get a better barrel?

i have played with all of the guns, and i think if your to the up close paintballing you should get the rodeo, but if you want a very coustomizable gun you should get the 98c.  I have a 98 sniper and im getting a drop forwards, regulator, and new barrels.  Plus i may get a autococker trilogy pro for x-mas.

i dont really care for the trilogy series cockers...they arent any better than any other guns but they have the word cocker in the name so that makes ppl think theyre better.  WGP cut alot of corners makin them.  but if thats what u like then thats kool i guess.
