It's a chemically done thing. You wont be able to do it yourself. You look in the yellow pages for it, or search on google for a place to do it. However, duplicolor sells a spray paint that looks like its anodized, but is just paint. Check it out... http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html Edited by ronniedio |

You can do it yourself but you need the materials. It is a
process by which i believe a liquid acid eats into the metal and leaves
color.

an electrical current runs through the metal, and the color actualy becomes part of the metal. There is a way to do it by yourself, but you may get shocked or ruin your paint.
