For Christmas, I have made a habit of buying for family, and then buying myself a huge present.  For instance, last year, I bought and wrapped up a laptop computer for myself.  This year, I want to get myself an A-5 with a R/T.  For those of you A-5 fans, please give me some pointers on A-5 maintenance, ease of use, price of A-5 w/ R/T, etc.  (I need it to convince my parents.)

Ps  I already own the 98

Smart Parts Shocker SFT Vision

Eggy2 Z-boarded
NDZ V3 He Bolt

A-5, E-gripped
WAS board to come

There around 300$ and are really easy to clean, Using a R/T takes a wee bit of time to get used to, with all the adjustments you may have to make to get that "Full-Auto" Feel to your A5.

But great Choice in a new gun

You don't really need to do much with Tippmanns.  The R/T is easy to install, so get it seperatly and save some money.  Just make sure to oil the o-rings every 2000 shots or so...

I have a friend with one and to tell you the truth I wouldn't get it. I would put my money towards like a HPA tank or something like a... well better gun. Go for a cocker or something.

If you can afford an A-5, you could afford a good used 'cocker on ebay. They're nice guns, which, if lacking a bit in the speed department, are extremely accurate and pretty light, with tons of upgrades.

However, if you're settled on the A-5, it's a really good gun. Kinda heavy, but easy to take apart and clean due to the new quick strip system on it. Also, lots of upgrades, can make it quite fast and pretty accurate.
