Ok i know that some of you don't believe in God and all that, but seriously we understand, you don't have to flame to be heard. But if you are a believer what is your favorite passage?

Good way to distort scriptures.......

Tell the whole story of why each of those events happened and we will see how bad they look then.



---Note, I got the most awesome new bible for christmas.  My church always goes to witness after sunday church at 4:00 and I needed a carry bible.  So a lady in the church got me one with the faith outline already in it and its in.........WOODLAND CAMO PRINT.

Its the new Gucci.

EDIT--- My dads a pastor so I get gifts from everyone during the holidays.......

Thanks, I have a few, but I didn't have a carry one.

And this lady knows I love to fish so she got me one in camo print because she thought I would like it.  Sounds cheesy, but it looks really good.  Realtree pattern and all..........

Not really a bible passage and I am not religious but for some reason this always lifts me up:

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

i was having a really tough time when my friend killed himself, my pastor handed me a book, and told me to turn to a certain page, that poem was on it, i cried
