Currently I have a 98 Custom with a Shocktech drop forward, J & J Ceramic barrel, and a double trigger. My team is going to start competing in tournaments next year and I feel as if the 98 Custom won't cut it.
However, I only got this marker in August. I want to upgrade to an Autococker, but I don't know what I should do with my 98 Custom. Part of me doesn't want to let go of a good thing I already have. I can't just leave this thing sitting in a closet collecting dust - nor can I sell it. It does feel perfect for me though, now that I have a drop forward. So I'm asking for your opinions. Should I upgrade to an Autococker or stick with my 98 Custom? |

If you like your 98 so much then keep it. Those ups sound good to start of with. I've seen people play in tourneys with 98's before. I started out with an A-5 wich I'm still playing with now but I'm getting a cocker in a month or so. If you really like your 98 then keep it. In small tourneys you should do OK with a 98 but if you get more serous into tourneys then you'll need something smaller and faster. I would keep the 98 until you get more expierence, then go to a higher level marker. I hope this helps. |
